For more than 30 years, Rev. Eileen Stewart-Rhude has been travelling nationally and internationally with a passion to nurture and empower women to be all God created them to be and to become influencers within their nations for His Kingdom. Her inspiration for this book began as she pastored with her husband and saw the untapped potential for leadership within her local church. She mentored and nurtured teens and young women and men, who quickly rose to positions of leadership within the church and community. Eileen was appointed to lead the provincial women’s ministry in her denomination, and in two years became their national director of women. Thirteen years in this position opened doors to minister and teach not only nationally, but also internationally.
Eileen’s scope of ministry expanded to reach all denominations and parachurch ministries when she became Chair of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada’s Task Force and Forum for Women in Leadership and the ministry and leadership consultant for Women Alive, a national conference ministry for women.
In 2001, Eileen was appointed to represent Canada on the World Evangelical Alliance’s Global Council of Women’s Commission. This group is made up of eight leading women, representing each region of the world. In 2005, she was appointed executive director of this global body and travels throughout the nations, encouraging, teaching and developing leaders.
